If Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Junior Guerra wasn't awake in his fourth appearance of the spring, he sure was after Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Andrew Aplin hit a rocket up the middle that almost took his head off. What could've been a scary moment turned out to be an impressive snag by Guerra.
Was it luck or skill? Did he catch the ball or did the ball catch him? You can have that debate all you want, but it's an out in the boxscore, which is all that matters if you're a pitcher.
Unfortunately for Guerra, it didn't get much better after that, as he gave up two runs on four hits over two innings of work, including a long ball by D-Backs infielder Andy Young.
Maybe the liner spooked Guerra a bit and he wasn't on his game after that, but he'll have plenty of opportunities to get back on track this spring.
