Cleveland Browns running back Duke Johnson Jr. took some time on Wednesday to check a reporter who thinks that he removed any reference to his current team on his various social media accounts. Take a look for yourself:
Sir can you show me the last time I’ve had Any “Reference to the browns” in any of my social media accounts? The things I’ve “removed”?. Don’t say tweets or pictures plz. As for the like I feel how I feel. People say “I’m not durable” but haven’t missed a game (knock on wood) 路♂️.— . (@DukeJohnson_8) March 6, 2019
The 25-year-old back is reportedly drawing plenty of trade interest
ICYMI: #Browns Duke Johnson drawing trade interest from at least 3 teams, No extension imminent for pending UFA Breshad Perriman, Jamie Collins will likely be released soon if Browns can't trade him, and more https://t.co/Qu18E04XIl— Mary Kay Cabot (@MaryKayCabot) March 5, 2019
Johnson Jr. is certainly a shifty weapon out of the backfield.
The third-rounder out of Miami has been a nice option out of the backfield in the passing game since arriving in Cleveland. Johnson Jr. has tallied more receiving yards than rushing yards in all four of his NFL seasons and has a 9.2 yards per catch average for his career.
It is currently unknown how long Hunt will be out with a suspension, but with Nick Chubb coming on strong last year, it's not surprising that the Browns would be open to moving on from the pass-catching back.
