Former NFL quarterback and college football star Tim Tebow is still trying to work his way all the way up to the big leagues with the New York Mets. However, he hasn't done anything this spring to even be considered for the Opening Day roster.

Tebow has appeared in three games and is 0-for-6 with two strikeouts and a hit-by-pitch.

There are plenty of people out there who believe in his ability, and you can put former slugger Jose Canseco on that list, as he took to Twitter and offered to help him with his swing for free.

I'm not sure if Tebow would want to learn about hitting from the face of the steroid era, and someone who finished his career with a .266 batting average. Yes, Canseco was one of the best home run hitters in the game and finished with 462 homers, but what would he have been if he laid off the juice?

Whether you care that he took steroids or not, let's not pretend that Canseco was the late Tony Gwynn. He didn't hit for much of an average and he had some swing and miss to his game.

Now. if he continues to struggle at the dish, maybe he should consider it, but for now he's battling through it.
