There were some whispers and rumors around the NFL Combine that former Ole Miss wide receiver DK Metcalf, likely the top receiver in this draft, is actually an alien and not of this earth.

Those rumors were proven true when the 6-4, 230-pound receiver with blazing speed put up an astounding 27 reps on the bench press challenge, which was more than some offensive lineman.

Metcalf might have won the Combine already.

Though he only appeared in seven games this season due to a neck injury, Metcalf still managed to haul in 26 passes for 569 yards, an average of 21.9 yards per catch, and 5 touchdowns.

Though teammates AJ Brown and DaMarkus Lodge came in with as much or more hype as NFL prospects, Metcalf and his cartoonish frame could very well be the first receiver taken in a deep class.

If his medicals check out, Metcalf should be a lock for a the top 10, as his combination of size and speed doesn't come along every season.
