It appears we are getting close to Bryce Harper making his decision.

The Philadelphia Phillies seem to be in the lead, but according to MLB insider Jon Morosi, Phillies officials have "grown concerned" that Harper will end up signing with the Los Angeles Dodgers if the deals are similar.

Not only have the Dodgers won back-to-back pennants, but Harper would be closer to his home in Las Vegas and Spring Training will be in Arizona, both of which appeal to the star outfielder.

Another thing that doesn't help Philadelphia's chances is the fact they won't put in a no-trade clause after the third year.

The Dodgers have recently gotten back in the mix for Harper, and if they decide to go long term and big money, the former face of the Nationals will be playing his home games in Los Angeles. They are a proven winner and he won't have to worry about joining a mysterious Phillies team whose outlook isn't nearly as clear as LA's.
