Zion Williamson suffered a knee sprain after he literally burst through his Nike PG 2.5 shoe in Duke's loss to North Carolina.

Will Zion Play Tonight?

Williamson has been ruled out for Duke's Tuesday night matchup with Virginia Tech. The team is considering their superstar forward day-to-day, but he will miss the team's tilt against the Hokies.

Is Zion Williamson hurt?

Zion's injury was called a knee sprain by head coach Mike Krzyzewski. It's considered a minor injury but with Williamson's massive potential and expectation that he will be the No. 1 pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, the minor injury made major headlines.

Duke will be looking to have a strong week to close out the month of February as they aim to reclaim the No. 1 ranking in the nation. Gonzaga took over the top seed in the country in the latest AP Top 25 Poll which was released on Monday.

The Blue Devils (24-3, 12-2) will be looking to win on the road without Zion on the floor against Virginia Tech (21-6, 10-5). In the meantime, RJ Barrett takes over.
