New York Yankees' pitcher CC Sabathia announced that he will retire from baseball at the end of the 2019 season after what will be an impactful 19-year career. But the announcement wasn't without laughs. During a press conference, Sabathia's wife, Amber Sabathia, let loose some private information about the couple's child, Carter. Amber revealed that Carter Sabathia was a "World Series baby," so it looks like we all now how CC celebrated the Yankees' 2009 championship season.

The media room burst into laughter after Amber made the comment.
Sabathia started two games in the 2009 World Series, logging 13.2 innings as the Yankees' took down the Phillies. If that's not a reason to celebrate, we don't know what is.
Amber Sabathia just told her son, Carter, that he was a “World Series baby.” Well then.— Brendan Kuty (@BrendanKutyNJ) February 16, 2019
Sabathia has been a fan-favorite in New York since joining the Yankees in 2009. Sabathia has spent 10 seasons in the Bronx, posting a 129-80 record with a 3.74 ERA in pinstripes.
