Baseball season is right around the corner. After their win over the Edmonton Oilers at home, the Carolina Hurricanes honored the victory with one of their usual team celebrations. The home fans watched on as the Canes lined up around the diamond and simulated a walk-off home run.

 That really was a no-doubter.

With the win, the Canes have creeped to within a point of the Pittsburgh Penguins for fourth place in the Metro. Carolina's recent surge, which includes a 7-2-1 record in their last ten games, has surprised most of the NHL.

These team-wide celebrations were initially greeted with skepticism, but as Canes fans continue to embrace this patented approach to celebrating a well-deserved home win, there's no wonder attendance numbers in Carolina continue to rise.
