It's the opening weekend of the Alliance of American Football season, and on Saturday, fans were able to see what the developmental league had to offer. Then, during Sunday afternoon's Birmingham Iron-Memphis Express game, Trent Richardson showed the world again just exactly what he's made of. The former Cleveland Brown and Alabama Crimson Tide back used elusive footwork at the goal line to give the Iron their first touchdown of the game in the fourth quarter.

Oh, you thought Richardson was done after that? Not even close, as he gave us a throwback in the form of a run down the throat of the interior defensive line for yet another score.

The former No. 3 overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft is looking to prove his critics wrong, and he got an early start in the AAF's opening week.
