UFC 234 will take place at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne, Australia and fans are in for an absolute treat, though one that's missing the day's primary entertainment.

Robert Whittaker (20-4) will no longer be defending his UFC Middleweight Championship this Saturday night against Kelvin Gastelum (15-3-1) in the co-main event. Instead, this match will be canceled due to Whittaker's hernia.

Whittaker is a Sydney, Australia native and was a massive favorite in his home country.

Unlike in Whittaker's last supposed title defense, there were no problems at the weigh-in as the scale totaled 185 pounds for Whittaker compared to 184 for Gastelum. Instead, everything went wrong on Saturday.

Anderson Silva and Israel Adesanya is now the most important matchup on the card, and Silva was remarkably emotional at this week's weigh-in.

If we don't have a title bout to look forward to, at least we get to watch a legend in Silva hopefully return to form.

The prelims can be watched at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN and can be streamed on WatchESPN and the ESPN app. HOWEVER, the main card begins at 10 p.m. ET and is a Pay-per-view event!

You can live-stream the fight and order the main card on UFC.TV and ESPN+. Additional streams are accessible on Reddit via the MMA Streams subreddit at this direct link.
