4-Star athlete Asa Turner has decided that he'll take his talents to Washington after flirting with Notre Dame.

Turner is a 6-3, 195-pound player who will likely play safety in college. He originally committed to Washington this past summer but changed his mind after  Notre Dame began recruiting him. Now,  Turner has decided to turn his attention back to the Huskies.

The Carlsbad, CA native is No. 17 among players marked as athletes in the 2019 class. He also received offers from Arizona, Arizona State and Boise State before deciding on Washington. He's earned the honor of being rostered at both the Polynesian Bowl and the All-American Bowl during his high school career.

Turner's versatility is what made him such a hot commodity. He can play multiple places on the field, though he's spent most of his time at safety.

Washington saw him as a safety recruit, while Notre Dame expressed interest in having him aboard as a linebacker. It appears that Turner is more at home further back in the secondary which seems to be the reason he's decided not to join the Fighting Irish.
