Bill Belichick has accomplished incredible things as head coach of the greatest NFL dynasty to ever play the game, winning six Super Bowl rings in New England as part of two separate runs helmed by the same incredible QB. One would think that with that résumé, the coach would be content to bask in his glory.
However, Belichick isn't that type of coach. In fact, he isn't satisfied quite yet, and has already promised Tom Brady

Looking at their performance against the Rams, they excelled defensively, but Tom Brady and the offense looked like a mess for most of the game. The defense played at a Super Bowl-winning level, but the offense didn't look like it belonged on the NFL's biggest stage.
Neither did the Rams, though! Will you be betting against these fools ever again? Like, ever?
Belichick is a great coach, but to make four straight Super Bowls with a team that will be losing its defensive coordinator, along with possibly its staple tight end, would simply be a superhuman feat.
In other words, nothing new.
With an offseason full of questions approaching, Belichick will have to make some serious maneuvers to make sure his team can reach Miami in 2020 for Super Bowl LIV.
Everyone counted out the Patriots this year, though, and the team endlessly reminded us of that fact during the postseason. The Patriots are resilient fighters and have always persevered under Belichick, so don't be surprised if you see Brady and Belichick back in the big game next year.
