Ever since returning Tre Jones last weekend, Duke has returned to their seemingly unstoppable form, dominating Notre Dame and Georgia Tech.
This weekend won't be quite as easy.
St. John's, led by Shamorie Ponds and Auburn transfer Mustafa Heron, look to upset the Blue Devils for the second straight year. While this Duke squad, ranked second in the country, certainly isn't the same as last year's, this is one of the most talented Red Storm teams in years and the team is hungry to return to form after a recent string of inconsistent play.

Duke has won 146 consecutive home games against non-conference opponents.

However, the odds are not quite in favor of the Red Storm. In fact, the odds have Duke favored as an 18.5-point favorite over St. John's.
While Duke has shown itself to be a dominant team and capable of beating anyone in the country handily, such as with their season-opening destruction of Kentucky, St. John's is still a good team that deserves a little more respect.
St. John's is an 18.5-point underdog tomorrow at Duke. Quite a number. #sjubb— Zach Braziller (@NYPost_Brazille) February 1, 2019
The game will be by no means a guaranteed win for the Blue Devils, but they should be able to earn themselves a victory, especially considering they have the home court advantage at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
However, if Duke fails to play good defense and finds some of its stars struggling with foul trouble, we could see a monumental upset on our hands. All eyes will be on this ACC-Big East matchup, one that could turn into a landmark game come the end of the season.
