Paul George and Russell Westbrook are getting their due once again. But this season, the Oklahoma City Thunder have another player competing in the NBA's All-Star Weekend festivities.

Rookie shooting guard Hamidou Diallo will get his chance to prove himself with the best in the league on the weekend of February 17th. The 6-5 Diallo is aiming to impress the spectators with his above-the-rim skills at the Slam Dunk Contest.

The 20-year-old is averaging about 12 minutes on the court this year. He will be replacing Derrick Jones Jr. in the annual competition, who will not be able to compete because of a knee injury.

This type of competition looks to be right in Diallo's wheelhouse. He's a high-flying monster of an athlete who stuffs it over veterans in a manner that belies his tender age. Fans are in for a treat watching him get up and slam it down with the best in the league.

Congrats to this young guy. We wish him luck on this big stage.
