Anthony Davis and agent Rich Paul dropped a bomb earlier this week when they declared that the five-time All-Star wanted to be traded from the Pelicans prior to the Feb. 7 deadline.

What followed was mayhem in terms of potential deals and even New Orleans' general manager Dell Demps refusing to pick up the phone and listen to offers for AD.

Well, the organization SOMEHOW managed to one-up its GM by reportedly removing The Brow from their intro video prior to a matchup with the Nuggets.

Immature. Feeble-minded. Call it whatever you please. Davis deserves better from a franchise he's devoted seven years of MVP-caliber play to.

FS1 personality Colin Cowherd only needed one word to describe the Pelicans' actions:

Something tells us that a player who's appeared in 451 games for a franchise, and has averaged 24 points and over 10 rebounds while shooting over 50 percent from the floor for said franchise, deserves better from the Pels.

That "something" is common sense.

Are we telling the Pelicans to not feel betrayed by a player they are currently paying over $25 million per year? Absolutely not.

However, it is utterly impossible to justify the lack of respect they are showing to their foundational superstar.
