The dream scenario for the Lakers is playing out right before their eyes. And, according to reports, the team is prepared to give up just about anything for superstar Anthony Davis.

NBA insider Steve Kyler says the Lakers are not going to mess around now that they have the Pelicans listening.

Sources close to the situation are saying LA is prepared to make a monster offer for Davis that could include pretty much anyone not named LeBron James.

There's a belief around the league they could have their pick of three players from LA's young core to make a deal happen before the Feb. 7 deadline.

The only issue for Los Angeles is that they can't force New Orleans to take the deal, they can only make the offer as attractive as possible, which would likely include Kyle Kuzma, Lonzo Ball, Ivica Zubac and possibly a first-round pick.

The Pels have been adamant that it's going to take something major, as they won't be looking to do the Lakers any favors for trying to take the best player in franchise history away from them.
