One of the biggest matchups in the Big 12 is here, and it's got every chance to be a great one.

Kansas started the season towards the top of the nation, as they've spent time at No. 1, but have fallen all the way down to ninth following the team's recent loss to West Virginia. The standings are already tight, with the Cyclones tied with the Jayhawks for the top spot in the conference.

After tonight, there will only be one of them remaining atop the heap.

This is now a huge game for Kansas for a number of reasons.

The Jayhawks need to rebound following their loss to the Mountaineers while also maintaining pace in the Big 12. Plus, they're looking for revenge as the Cyclones stunned them earlier this year during their first matchup. Iowa State has been looking like a threat, as they also took down Texas Tech on the road.
