The officiating during Sunday's NFC Championship Game was so bad, even the players knew what they were getting away with.

Late in the 4th quarter, Tommylee Lewis of the New Orleans Saints was absolutely TAKEN OUT by Rams cornerback Nickell Robey-Coleman, yet no pass interference was called.

After the game, Robey-Coleman admitted he knew what he had done should have resulted in a flag.

The play was one of the  most egregious missed calls in the history of the game , and completely changed the course of the game, as the Saints seemed destined to put the game out of reach with a touchdown, but instead had to settle for a field goal, making it much easier for the Rams to tie the game.

All game long, the referees seemed to be playing against the Saints, holding out on multiple calls that would have favored New Orleans.

When the guy who made the play says things like that, you know there's something fishy going on with the NFL officiating. The NFL owes the Saints a MAJOR apology. but not even that is enough.
