Baseball fans hoping for some offseason excitement certainly didn't think this would be their source of entertainment.
While we wait to see where Manny Machado and Bryce Harper will sign, troubling reports are coming out of the Dominican Republic.
Per reports, the home of Giants hurler Johnny Cueto was raided early Friday morning. To make matters worse, his brother, Danilo Cueto Ortiz, has been arrested for allegedly not paying a pair of female sex workers.
According to the DR's Diario Digital, the women said in the police report that five men tried to forcefully have sex with them. When they restrained, the men began to hit them.
The police report also stated the women managed to escape the home in the middle of the night and then received medical attention. They had bruises and lacerations on their bodies.

Think Cueto was rattled then? Wait until he gets on the phone with members of his family to hear about what his brother was up to in his house.
Cueto, entering his fourth season with San Francisco, is getting ready for a big 2019 campaign, after appearing in just nine games last season. This is certainly the LAST thing he needed before reporting to camp on his mind.
