Canelo-Jacobs is on! On Thursday, a title-unifying middleweight bout between the two was officially announced for May 4. Mark your calendars because you won't want to miss this fight between two champions.
Canelo Alvarez, with a record of 51-1-2 with 35 knockouts, is one of the biggest stars in the fight game at only 29 years old. Daniel Jacobs' record is 35-2, with 29 KOs and is widely considered the third-best fighter in the middleweight division.
It goes without saying that this is a must-see for any and all boxing fans.
Canelo will be coming back down to middleweight after his brief experiment with super middleweight. Before that, he was victorious over Gennady Golovkin in their rematch after a controversial draw in his first fight.

Jones on the other hand, lost to Golovkin nearly two years ago.
Jones has been trying to schedule a fight with Canelo for months and we are all glad they finally reached a mutual agreement. We just wish May could come a bit sooner.
