Things can change quickly, and that is exactly what is going on at Oklahoma, as Jalen Hurts has announced that he will be transferring to play for Lincoln Riley and Co.

With Hurts' arrival, one man that will not be too happy to hear the news is 5-star QB recruit Spencer Rattler, an early enrollee, who didn't anticipate a transfer signal caller coming in.

Head coach Lincoln Riley told Rattler no other quarterbacks would be joining the team, even amid speculation that Oklahoma could be a top place for an incoming transfer.

After the Sooners signed Rattler, who was their top overall recruit in the 2019 class, many were expecting he'd have a great shot to take over for Kyler Murray. Even after the Justin Fields rumors came and went, it still seemed as if Rattler was the top guy.

However, now Hurts and Rattler will both be on campus together and participate in spring ball.

Hurts now is the heavy favorite to take over as the starter at Oklahoma. Rattler, just a freshman, will now likely have to wait his turn to run the offense.
