Freddie Kitchens is adding to his coaching staff in Cleveland, as the Browns have decided to sign former Vikings special teams coordinator Mike Priefer.
Coach Priefer spent the last eight seasons in Minnesota, and after his contract expired, he believed that it was time to move on.
Mike Priefer tells me he has agreed to join the #Browns as special teams coordinator. The #Vikings offered him a contract. #Lions and #Falcons also interviewed him and several other teams showed interest, but he’s headed to Cleveland and excited.— Tom Pelissero (@TomPelissero) January 11, 2019
Along with the announcement of his decision was a statement from the man himself, sending an emotional goodbye to those he cared about in Minnesota.

The Browns will now look to build the rest of the coaching staff. This includes bringing in a new offensive and defensive coordinator.
With a new era beginning in Cleveland, it is crucial that Dorsey, Kitchens and the Browns select the right coordinators to help keep the momentum moving into 2019. Adding Preifer is already a great start for this franchise.
