The Arizona Cardinals have just made a hire, and are closing in on another, to bring plenty of experience to the coaching staff.

New head coach Kliff Kingsbury has added former Denver Broncos head coach Vance Joseph to his staff. He's also close to a deal with former Atlanta Falcons offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian

Joseph will return to his previous coaching responsibility of controlling the defense. Sarkisian will also assume previous responsibilities at OC, should he get hired. These decisions should provide a complementary philosophy to Kingsbury's new-look offensive style.

Maybe in 2019 Joseph will be having the time of his life?

He will be taking over a highly underrated defense that features Chandler Jones and Patrick Peterson. Most importantly, the pressure will be off Joseph. Being in the spotlight in Denver proved to be challenging for him. He won 11 games in his two seasons with the team.

Sarkisian, however, has his work cut out for him if he ends up in Arizona. He was unable to make things work in Atlanta with a loaded Falcons offense. This of course begs the question: What exactly is he going to do with Josh Rosen and the mediocre Cardinals O?

But, maybe Sarkisian and Kingsbury can put their offensive minds together and figure out a winning formula for the Cardinals.
