It looks like the Sean McVay coaching tree may be getting larger.

He's only in his second season as a head coach in the NFL, but may already have two coaches who were once underneath him ascend to head jobs this offseason. We already saw  Matt LaFleur get picked off to become the Packers' next head coach and now another bright young mind may be headed to Cincinnati.

According to those in the know, Rams QB coach Zac Taylor is the front-runner for the Bengals' head coaching job.

People sure do like the idea of inheriting someone behind the Rams' lethal offense.

The Bengals are one of the last teams that will fill their head coaching vacancy after finally firing Marvin Lewis. Taylor has bounced between college and the NFL over the years and has experience as a play-caller after taking over the offensive coordinator job midseason for the Dolphins back in 2015.

He has spent the last two seasons with the Rams, with this year being his first as the team's QB coach. Taylor has quickly gained interest as one of the next bright head coaches in football, and could have his opportunity with a team desperate for a new start.

We'll have to wait until the Rams are out of the postseason, but it looks like Taylor's days in LA are numbered, with a bright future lying in front of him.
