JT Realmuto's time in Miami must be coming to an end soon, right? Despite the extensive talks held with the Mets in December, the sides failed to reach an agreement and the Mets opted to go after Wilson Ramos.
Still, there are many teams eyeing the Marlins' catcher and they are still shopping him around the league. According to reports, there are still six teams in play to acquire Realmuto during the offseason. The Braves, Dodgers, Astros, Padres, Rays and Reds all have interest in bringing the 27-year-old.
Realmuto has been arguably the most sought-after catcher this offseason as the Marlins are looking for a massive haul for the coveted backstop. The team clearly have a desired value to receive in compensation for Realmuto and now it's a matter of which team is desperate enough to match it.
In 2018, Realmuto slashed .277/.340/.484 with 21 home runs and 74 RBI. He earned his first All-Star appearance and won the Silver Slugger award behind the plate.

With many teams in need of an every day catcher like Realmuto, the Marlins shouldn't have too much difficulty finding a trade partner, but their sky-high asking price may deter teams from pursuing the 27-year-old.
