For the second straight day, Kansas City Chiefs safety Eric Berry did not practice because of an ailing heel, making it unlikely that he'll play on Saturday in the Divisional Round against the Indianapolis Colts.
Eric Berry was not on the field during today’s open portion of practice. All indications, at this point, is that Eric is likely doubtful for Saturday’s game.— Nate Taylor (@ByNateTaylor) January 10, 2019
It's a short week anyways, but the Chiefs are coming off first round bye. If Berry can't get on the practice field at this point in the week, it would seem highly unlikely that he'll be able to suit on Saturday.

The veteran safety and captain of this Chiefs defense missed all of last season after tearing his Achilles in the opener. It's been a long road back for Berry, but he did return to the field in Week 15 against the Los Angeles Chargers.
He played the next week against Seattle but sat out the season finale to begin preparation for the postseason. Without Berry, the struggling Chiefs secondary will be further exposed.
