When you go to a major sporting event, some price-gouging is to be expected for concessions and apparel. But this is just crazy.
If you planned on going to the Alabama-Clemson College Football Playoff National Championship game tonight at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, you may want to pre-game in your hotel room beforehand. That is, unless don't mind paying $14.00 for draft beer.
For those watching at home, the Crimson Tide will be taking on the Tigers at 8:00 p.m. ET Monday on ESPN. Presumably, your chosen beverage will come a bit cheaper.
The two schools meet in the playoffs for the fourth consecutive year, their third consecutive in the national championship game. Nick Saban's No. 1-ranked Crimson Tide and Dabo Swinney's No. 2 Tigers are both coming off double-digit wins in their semi-final games, and have seemingly been on a collision course since being respectively ranked first and second in the preseason polls.

Alabama beat Oklahoma 45-34 in the Orange Bowl after Clemson blew out Notre Dame 30-3 in the Cotton Bowl. And if you're at Levi's Stadium this evening, your wallet might suffer a blowout, too.
