Upset city? Upset city! Heading into Saturday night, no one thought Iowa State would be able to take down the No. 5 Jayhawks.
Don't tell that to the Cyclones, though, as they just stunned the country.
That's right, Iowa State went toe-to-toe with mighty KU and came out on top with a stunning 77-60 win. Who saw this coming?

The party on campus is going to be LIT this evening, no doubt about it. This wasn't a close game in the end, but it sure was a back-and-forth battle early on.
At halftime, ISU was clinging to a 36-32 lead, which had the home fans hyped. In the second half, though, the Cyclones managed to outscore Kansas 41-28 to secure their 17-point win.
Guard Marial Shayok had a night to remember, scoring a game-high 24 points. He finished the contest 9-of-12 from the floor and a perfect 5-for-5 from downtown.
