The Houston Rockets beat the Golden State Warriors in a 135-134 overtime thriller Thursday night thanks to an epic three-pointer from Rockets guard and reigning MVP James Harden.

Late in OT, Warriors forward Kevin Durant "saved" a loose ball going out of bounds which eventually led to a Stephen Curry mid-range jumper to give Golden State a 134-132 lead with just 22 ticks left in the extra frame.

But the points should not have counted, because Durant was clearly out of bounds, something the two-time Finals MVP even admitted to in his postgame media session.

Social media obviously took notice of the laughably bad call, prompting a few Rockets to join in.

Houston point guard Chris Paul, who has been sidelined with a hamstring injury, tweeted about the "#BirdBoxChallenge."

Rockets GM Daryl Morey piled on by tweeting a picture from the Netflix exclusive.

For those out there who haven't seen the countlessly-memed Bird Box, it is a horror movie starring Sandra Bullock, based around people not being able to see.

It will be interesting to see how the NBA plans to come down on Paul and Morey, since the league does not take criticism of its officials lightly; Toronto Raptors head coach Nick Nurse was fined $15,000 last month for his public criticism of officials following a loss to the Denver Nuggets.
