We knew LaMelo Ball was a legitimate top high school recruit, but we're not sure he had these kind of ups! Ball threw down some sick-nasty dunks recently at the Los Angeles Lakers practice facility, and you have to see them to believe it.
Moves like that must have his outspoken father, LaVar Ball, glowing with pride. Despite having a lot of noise surrounding him, LaMelo has clearly proven himself as a prospect worthy of the hype.
LaMelo's big bro, Lakers point guard Lonzo Ball, has been having a much improved sophomore season too. The hype of the Ball family is starting to become more warranted...with the exception of LiAngelo.
How about Lonzo Ball? Pressure is on him tonight without LeBron or Rondo, vs a De'Aaron Fox who has been a nemesis. In the first half Lonzo had 11 points, 8 assists and a team-leading 4 boards. 3 of 4 from 3. Go, Zo, go.— Skip Bayless (@RealSkipBayless) December 28, 2018
LaMelo is just 17 years old but has shown himself to have lottery pick potential.
While Lonzo is gearing up for a hopeful deep playoff run with the Lakers, LaMelo is going to be continuing to work on his skill set to make him a hopeful top-three pick like his big brother.
