The Dallas Cowboys overcame a shaky start to the season and bounced back to make the playoffs and win the NFC East. They had managed just three wins through their first eight games, but ended up with a 10-6 record after a strong finish. The Seahawks dropped their first two games of the season before picking up a win in Week 3 against these Cowboys.

It will be a rematch of the Week 3 battle which took place in Seattle earlier this season and the Seahawks will be hoping for a similar result in this one despite playing on the road in Arlington.

Game Preview

The Cowboys managed to win their division, while the Seahawks qualified through the Wild Card.. Dallas was 7-1 at AT&T Stadium in the regular season, and the imposing venue gives them a big advantage. Seattle managed to go 4-4 on the road this year, so they certainly have a chance. But it won't be easy.

Seattle scored the sixth-most points per game this season, averaging 26.8. The Cowboys offense struggled to produce to that level, scoring 21.2 points per game, ranking 22nd in the league.

These defenses are more closely rated. The Cowboys were excellent against the run this year, allowing just 1,513 yards to opposing rushers, the fifth-lowest total the league. They allowed 20.3 points per game, sixth in the league. The Seahawks allowed 21.7 points per game, ranking 12th.

Russell Wilson will need to make plays through the air if they hope to exploit this Cowboys defense and fortunately wide receiver Doug Baldwin will be healthy for the game.

How Can I Watch or Stream the Game?

FOX is covering this game, so it will be available to those who have a cable or satellite television provider, as well as non-subscribers who have an antenna. It will also be available online on foxsportsgo.com and via the FOX Sports Go app.

Prediction

The Cowboys enter the matchup favorited by 1.5 points, but this is going to be a toss-up. Dallas' defense allowed 36 points to the Giants without Odell Beckham Jr. so they will be hoping to improve in that regard. Seattle will be looking to stop Ezekiel Elliott at all costs and allow Russell Wilson to make plays through the air in order to stifle the Cowboys. This game will be tightly contested, but ultimately the Seahawks are going to step up and take home the win.
