Black Monday is extending itself beyond coaching staff shakeups already, it appears. Though the 2018 NFL regular season has only been over for just beyond 24 hours, some players are already on the hot seat, with rumors of potential cuts spreading throughout Dolphins camp.
These rumored cuts include defensive ends Robert Quinn and Andre Branch, as well as wide receiver DeVante Parker.
The most interesting cut has to be Parker, who was once highly regarded by the Dolphins organization. Unfortunately, he's had trouble staying healthy over the last four years. In 2018, he was limited to 11 games, with 24 receptions for 309 yards and one touchdown.
If this is the end of his tenure in Miami, he never played more than 15 games in a season for the Dolphins.
#Dolphins are likely to cut DE Robert Quinn, WR DeVante Parker and DE Andre Branch this offseason, per @MiamiHerald. Cutting all three would save over $29M in cap space. Ryan Tannehill, as others have reported, is also likely done in Miami.— NFL Update (@MySportsUpdate) January 1, 2019
There will almost certainly be more cuts to come from the Dolphins, as they look to clear cap space.
