Rumors are swirling around Pittsburgh Steelers camp after it was revealed that Antonio Brown sat out the team's Week 17 game due to an altercation with a teammate at practice. Many reports suggest that the player in question was none other than Ben Roethlisberger.
While addressing the media, Roethlisberger made a statement to clarify just how he feels about his star wide receiver, saying that he considers Brown to be a very close friend on the team.

Whether this is Big Ben speaking the truth or just hoping to avoid fueling the fire regarding his relationship with Brown, he made his point pretty clear in saying that him and Brown are close.
Despite that, AB isn't responding to Big Ben's text messages or calls.
Ben Roethlisberger tells the Fan that AB is still one of his closest friends, but he, nor others on the team, have heard from him as they have reached out to him via calls and texts. Ben said the incident Wednesday was overblown— Jeff Hathhorn (@jhathhorn) January 1, 2019
Roethlisberger and Brown have had their share of issues in the past but the two have been able to maintain a professional working relationship, that is up until Brown got himself benched for Week 17.
The future in Pittsburgh looks murky after the team failed to make the playoffs this season and it brings up the question as to whether or not Brown will be back in the black and gold uniform for the 2019 season.
