You don't need to pinch a Cowboys fan to wake them up. They're not dreaming about this season.
No, Big D has put together a number of impressive wins this season and have earned the right to call themselves NFC East champions. With six wins in their last seven games, Dallas will not only play a 17th game this season, but will be the hosts once the playoffs begin.
Dallas has announced information for their Wild Card round matchup, with standing room tickets going for as low as $50. Of course, if you want an actual seat with an actual view, get ready to shell out the dough.
Dallas Cowboys playoff tickets go on sale today at 12 p.m. CST. Ticket prices will range from $115-$560 per seat. pic.twitter.com/iA68FJg454— Jon Machota (@jonmachota) December 26, 2018
50 bucks is more than worth the price of admission into Jerry World, right? Of course, getting those first-run tickets is going to be next to impossible. Many will be left to fight their way through the "secondary market" (that is, online scalping) and pay far beyond face value.
The Cowboys last hosted a playoff game in 2016 after missing the postseason a year ago. They hope things go differently this time around as they lost to the Green Bay Packers in the divisional round.
Update, because I'm now in Dallas and you're not. Just on the news, it's exciting, the Cowboys will be putting playoff tickets on sale. Limited seating and standing room only. Why on earth would anyone pay for SRO tickets to a football game?— Julie Wilcox WX (@JulieWilcoxWX) December 24, 2018
Tickets are now on sale despite the limited amount of seating given out, with season ticket holders getting the first crack.
Whether the Cowboys play the Seahawks or the Vikings, fans should feel confident. They're one of the most underrated teams in football
Go get them while they're hot, Cowboys fans!
