The 2019 NBA offseason will be one for the ages. With multiple big-name free agents such as Kevin Durant, Kawhi Leonard, and Kyrie Irving possibly about to hit the market, teams will be lining up to try and lure one of these All-Star players to their city.

Though he isn't a free agent until 2020, one name that will be hot in the rumor mill this offseason is Anthony Davis.

Davis is one of the league's elite talents. On the court, Davis has the potential to take over a game at any time, with an ability to work effectively from the post and extend the floor with a fluid jump shot that he can knock down from anywhere. He's a franchise-changing player.

Though Davis may not be acquired via free agency until 2020, the possibility of a trade is definitely a viable option.

After publicly stating that having Davis in LA would be "amazing," LeBron James seemed to shoot his shot to get AD on the Lakers. After hearing these comments, Davis seemed to react in a not-so-interested way, stating "I don't really care."

AD has remained quiet about many of the rumors surrounding his name, stating that he is only focused on his current situation with the New Orleans Pelicans. Currently, with a record of 15-17 though, the Pelicans sit 13th in the highly competitive Western Conference.

Though Davis may want to ignore all the noise about his current state, it's hard to ignore the potential moves in front of him.

Teaming up with LeBron in LA is a great idea, but for the time being, Davis has other things to be worried about.
