Whatever college football program ends up securing the commitment of top 2019 recruit Kayvon Thibodeaux will get a truly unique and gifted pass rusher. In the last two seasons, the Westlake Village, CA, native has recorded 153 tackles, 47 tackles for loss, and 38 sacks.
Oregon was long thought to be the frontrunner, several southern powers like Alabama, Florida State, and Florida have made late pushes.
The Oaks Christian Lion appears to have narrowed his focus down to the Crimson Tide and the Ducks, according to 247sports analyst Greg Biggins.

"I do think it’s those two schools,” Biggins said. “I don’t think Florida State is out. I don’t think Florida is necessarily out, but I do think it’s Alabama making that late run. We’ve talked about how Bama is so good at closing."
He will announce his decision at halftime of the New Mexico Bowl on ESPN.
The hype surrounding Thibodeaux rivals that that Jadeveon Clowney created when he was considered an almost pro-ready prospect at age 18. If Thibodeaux preforms up to billing, expect a couple All-America teams and a high selection in the NFL Draft whenever he declares.
