Bashaud Breeland has been terrific for the Green Bay Packers when he can stay on the field. Despite multiple setbacks due to injuries, the cornerback is a valuable addition to his team.
While there have yet to be talks about Breeland signing another contract with Green Bay when he enters free agency this offseason, he prefers to be able to return to the team.
In his three starts with the Packers this season, Breeland has managed two interceptions, including a pick-six against Matt Ryan and the Falcons.
He's also demonstrated why his veteran presence in the locker room is valuable to the Packer secondary, as rookie cornerback Jaire Alexander vouched for Breeland and his importance to the defensive unit.
