When you mess with one player's quarterback, then you are just asking for trouble. That's what happened in Week 14 when Green Bay Packers superstar QB Aaron Rodgers ran for a first down on a two-minute drill but was cracked by an Atlanta Falcons defender right at the sticks.

Packers offensive tackle Lucas Patrick took serious exception to the play and rightfully defended his teammate. Here's his explanation:

Like Patrick needed the explanation, right?

It's an unwritten rule in football that if a guy tees off on the quarterback, he needs to be handled accordingly. Plenty of flags flew and fines are surely coming as a result, but it was nice to see some fight from the Pack after their lifeless Week 13 loss to the Arizona Cardinals the Sunday prior.

Maybe this sign of camaraderie will set a fire in the players' bellies with Green Bay still technically alive in the NFC playoff picture.
