The NCAA basketball season is in full effect, and with that comes the best heart-stopping endings a sports fan could ask for. Saturday was no exception, as Georgetown and Syracuse waged an all-out battle that ended in a definitive dagger in the dying moments. Check it out:

Syracuse junior point guard Tyus Battle wasn't ready to give up. He pushed up the court with his team down by one, kept the defense on its toes, and shot a two with less than three seconds left on the clock, leading the team to a one-point victory over Georgetown.
Battle continues his amazing season, pushing his NBA draft stock up each game. He is averaging 17 points per game, two assists, and three rebounds. But it's ability to pull through in the clutch that makes him so special for Syracuse. He had 21 of his 26 points in the second half.

Syracuse improves to 7-2 on the season.
Cuse now jumps up to 7-2 with their five-game winning streak. If Battle can continue to grow, the team can continue to prosper.
As for Georgetown, they're still sitting at 7-2, too. Pull yourself together and move on, Hoyas!
