Following the Green Bay Packers' somewhat surprising decision to fire head coach Mike McCarthy, he has revealed that he's not completely sure if he wants to return to coaching in 2019.

According to ESPN's Rob Demovsky, McCarthy said that he wants to "lay low" the rest of this season, and he will take some time to think about whether or not he wants to return to coaching in the NFL next season.

McCarthy has already been rumored to be atop the Cleveland Browns wish-list for a new head coach next season. This has to be a tough decision for McCarthy. One more year still remains on his contract, which makes the decision all the more confusing.

Especially since the Packers are already out of playoff contention.

Even former Packers players have come to his defense. Deep down McCarthy has to know that there were many factors that contributed to the Packers' lackluster performance in 2018.

Hopefully for Cleveland's sake, McCarthy will be ready to return to the sideline in 2019 clad in orange and brown. It's an exciting time for the Browns and adding a Super Bowl champion head coach will certainly add to that.
