The Kansas City Chiefs desperately need help on offense, said not a single soul this season.
This team is leading the NFL in points per game and suddenly got even better as Patrick Mahomes has a brand-new weapon.
The Chiefs are signing Kelvin Benjamin to a one-year deal.

That's how you load up for a playoff run.
Benjamin has had a rough season and was let go by the lowly Bills. There is a big difference between Josh Allen or Nathan Peterman and Patrick Mahomes who could break the touchdown record.
Benjamin made his first free agent visit with Kansas City and the two sides agreed to a deal shortly thereafter.
One-year deal, taking Benjamin through the end of this season. He will be a free agent again this winter. https://t.co/mNnsjPRYqV— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) December 7, 2018
Kansas City leans on Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce in the passing game, but that doesn't mean they won't spread the wealth to the big red zone target. As if the Chiefs needed any more help stretching the field.
Benjamin will play out the rest of the season on a prove it deal, with the potential to earn a better contract this offseason in free agency.
