Russell Wilson is typically a good guy. On Sunday, though, he committed an inexcusable act. And he only admitted to it today!
Yes, Wilson finally admitted to throwing that shoe that caused the 49ers, who needed all the help they could get, to be penalized. That's just not fair.

"It was a shoe, it was time to go - the clock is running, the refs ain't gonna wait for that."
Russ tells @710ESPNSeattle he threw the shoe behind him:
"If we go forward...I don't want a forward pass, I want a lateral."
Wilson saw the shoe near the line of scrimmage and needed to get it out of the way to start the play, but did he really not realize that it had to be one of the defenders? I guess he was just looking out for the safety of his teammates.
Stepping on a shoe can be career-threatening, you know. It's happened to the best of us.
According to Kyle Shanahan, Russell Wilson threw Fred Warner's shoe, leading to the penalty taken by Shanahan.— Ben Baldwin (@benbbaldwin) December 4, 2018
Keep an eye on the upper left here- you can see Warner (#48) jogging off with 1 shoe in his hand and then dropping it on the ground pic.twitter.com/5UrpIWegvd
Shanahan probably wasn't very happy with this, but what are you going to do? This is the type of stuff that happens to 2-10 teams who are onto their third-string quarterback. Nothing goes right. And this time, not-so-good-guy Russell Wilson is the culprit.
