Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has won the 2018 Walter Camp Player of the Year award, which is given annually to the best player in college football.
Decided by a group of NCAA head coaches and sports information directors under the guidance of the Walter Camp Football Foundation, Tagovailoa won the award over Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray and Ohio State quarterback Dwayne Haskins.

Tagovailoa has been a Godsend to the Crimson Tide, taking over for Jalen Hurts in the National Championship last year and never looking back.
Leading Alabama to a 13-0 record and another appearance in the College Football Playoff, Tagovailoa heads into the Orange Bowl with the opportunity to win another championship.

In the 13 games he has played in this season, Tagovailoa has thrown for 3,353 yards, 37 touchdowns and only four interceptions. As a whole, he has 3,989 yards, 48 touchdowns and a 66.8 completion percentage in his collegiate career.
Well-deserved for a player who has a great chance to win the Heisman.
