The Kentucky Wildcats finished 2017 a 7-6 record that concluded with a loss to Northwestern in the Music City Bowl.
Fast forward to 2018 and the Cats are 9-3 and have a date with college football powerhouse Penn State in the Citrus Bowl.
It's amazing what Mark Stoops has done in just under 12 months and the program just beat the odds yet again by signing 4-star linebacker recruit Jared Casey right under Oregon's noses.

We even have Casey to confirm the news:

Casey wavered on his pledge to Oregon last week, just a day after Kentucky's recruiting coordinator Vince Marrow conducted an in-home visit. Marrow returned to Louisville Tuesday night to seal the deal.
Casey is the 20th commitment in Kentucky’s 2019 class, which now ranks 30th in the country.
We now live in a world where Kentucky...yes Kentucky football, is capable of flipping committed recruits from the Oregon Ducks!
That will take some getting used to.
