These are the kinds of calls that negatively influence games and potentially get referees fired. The Los Angeles Chargers Philip Rivers hit wideout Travis Benjamin for a beautiful 46-yard touchdown pass that should have never happened in the first place. It doesn't take the trained eye of an NFL official to see why.

Focus on the right tackle No. 69 and you'll see he moved very early and well before the ball was snapped.

Still, the Chargers were able to get away with the false start and cashed in to stop the Pittsburgh Steelers from extending their two-score lead any further.

This is the exact missed call that resulted in an official getting fired in Browns-Chargers a few weeks back. Might we see an incredibly rare repeat? After all, that was the first time it EVER HAPPENED midseason.

Step it up, refs.
