The University of Georgia finished with the worst ranking imaginable today, as the fifth best team in the College Football Playoff Ranking and eliminated from championship contention.

Now, their bowl game has been announced and the Bulldogs will be heading to Atlanta to play the Sugar Bowl.

This will be the second year in a row that Georgia plays in the Sugar Bowl, but under much different circumstances.

Last year the National Championship Game was played at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome between Georgia and Alabama.

This year's Sugar Bowl is going to be played against Texas though, and it is the first time those two schools have met in a long time.

After watching Georgia play so well against Alabama last night and now that they were snubbed from the playoff, expect them to blow out Texas in that game next month.
