Alabama and Clemson have bee the front runners for the 2018 College Football Playoff the start of the season. With just days to go before the playoff teams are announced, the Crimson Tide and the Tigers stand head and shoulders above everyone else in the latest championship odds.
Vegas seems to view this as a two-horse race between Nick Saban and Dabo Swinney.

Notre Dame +1200
Ohio State +1850
Central Florida +50000 https://t.co/t19orf4YDn
With an unblemished record and no conference championship to potentially ruin said record, Notre Dame looks like a lock to make the playoff. QB Ian Book has come off the bench to make the Irish the most likely champion outside of the two usual powers down south.
In the Ohio State-Oklahoma debate, it seems like the Buckeyes have a slight edge over Kyler Murray and the Sooners according to the sportsbooks.
UCF at +50000 is interesting. At the end of the day, you never know what's going to happen in conference championship week. If you've got $100 to blow, you could a lot worse than taking a chance on UCF to win $50,000.
