It appears that Conor McGregor may finally have found someone with a bigger mouth than him. Ever since he and Khabib Nurmagomedov's battle in the Octagon in October was marred by a post-fight brawl, the hatred between the two has only mounted.

Khabib upped the ante once again on Monday by saying that McGregor was all talk before the fight, but since losing has apparently "forgot his tongue at home".

It's a weird way to phrase it, but the point is valid: McGregor certainly seems to have quieted down since getting beaten by Khabib. It could possibly be due to the suspension levied against both men following the chaos that ensued after the match, but that seems unlikely.

McGregor is never one to keep his mouth shut for long, but now seems to really have "lost his tongue". The silence likely won't last much longer, especially not with Khabib publicly pushing his buttons, but the braggart's unusual quiet nature is interesting.

Still, Khabib hasn't ruled out eventual reconciliation between the two fighters. After all, they were friends not too long ago. A lot has changed since then, of course, but it's not out of the question that the two could eventually squash their beef.

As of right now, they still clearly hate each other. Luckily for UFC fans, it looks to stay that way for the foreseeable future.
