Roughly eight months ago, it seemed Arizona Wildcats head coach Sean Miller would be removed after a bombshell report came out about him issuing payments to players, specifically DeAndre Ayton, who wound up being the No. 1 overall pick in the draft this summer.

Miller didn't step down, however, and he remains at Arizona. Even with the pubic scrutiny and the black cloud over the program that have remained, it looks like he's churning out another big recruiting class.

According to college basketball analyst Jeff Goodman, Arizona just landed another top-50 player in next year's recruiting class, making that three top-50 recruits already committed.

With the recent addition of big man Zeke Nnaji out of Minnesota, it looks like Miller and the Wildcats are headed towards a top-5 recruiting class. That is simply stunning considering all that's gone on over the past year.

Scandal or no scandal, hats off to Sean Miller for selling this program and getting these talented young kids to come there to play. Sometimes the hint of impropriety can not only sink a head coach, but an entire program for years to come.

He's rebounded nicely and is bringing in the talent to build another monster out in Tuscon.
