We all know that Eli Manning and the New York Giants have struggled the past few seasons, but it seems as if their offense has finally hit a new low. During their 27-23 Monday Night Football win against the San Francisco 49ers, Manning had 188 yards and three touchdowns, but don't let their win distract the fact that Manning is truly a terrible QB now. Don't believe me? Watch this play:
.@giants it’s so hard to understand what this offense is all about. I see guys wide open but they don’t get the football? It’s just the oddest thing to watch. #BaldysBreakdowns pic.twitter.com/ZKdP3EaH4z— Brian Baldinger (@BaldyNFL) November 15, 2018
Can somebody tell me exactly what Manning was thinking here? There was literally no pressure, and he had one of the best, if not the best, wide receiver wide open downfield and decided to check it down.
The man has won two Super Bowl rings and two Super Bowl MVPs, I know he can see the field and read a defense. The problem is, Manning is at the end of the road and won't admit it.
He's taken too many hits, he's gun shy and he makes horrible decisions. He's playing like he has no idea what he's doing, and you can clearly see it from the video.

While this may be a bit of a stretch, considering Manning turns it up like no other in the playoffs, he's hurting his legacy every time he makes terrible decisions like he did Monday night.
Please, Eli, retire before it's too late and you tarnish everything you've accomplished.
